<ΤΥΡΑΝΝΟΚΤΟΝΟΣ.> / Νόμος τὸν ἀποκτείναντα τύραννον ὅ τι βούλεται γέρας αἰτεῖν. ἀνέβη τις εἰς ἀκρόπολιν ἐγχειρίδιον φέρων ὡς ἀναιρήσων τὸν τύραννον. ἔτυχε μὴ παρών. ἀνεῖλεν ἐκείνου τὸν παῖδα μόνον ὄντα τῷ φύσαντι. ὁ πατὴρ τὸ συμβὰν θεασάμενος ἡττήθη τοῦ πάθους ὅσον ἑαυτὸν ἀποσφάξαι. ἐντεῦθεν ὁ κτείνας τὸν νέον οἷα δὴ τῷ τυράννῳ σφαγῆς αἴτιος γεγονὼς τυχεῖν ἀξιοῖ δωρεᾶς ἑτέρου τινὸς ἀντιλέγοντος. μελετῶμεν τὸν αἰτοῦντα τὴν δωρεάν.
